Hello world!!,
It's been a minute , way to long. well as I sit here in my "SHE ROOM" and meditate, I think about life and reflect on ways to keep myself humble. The last thing I want is God to humble me. I think about how far I've come , and how far I got to go, you see life is an infinite journey that will cease when you leave this earth, and I'm a firm believer that even when you leave this earth , Your journey continues in another form. My growth and completion of my spirit was not done overnight it took some time.
Have you ever find yourself helping someone, only to find out you helped yourself to. Well I had a situation like that happened to me very recent in fact TODAY. Now years ago my response would not have been the same, you see I was in a place, where my caring and thought process was limited to where my reaction to things (episodes) as I call them ,brought out the worst in me, because I simply did not give a shit. There were times as I sit back now and think , the mind is a dangerous thing when it's in a state it does not to be in, At times I was PETTY before that word even came out.
Moving forward I had to think before I reacted today, and I'm here to tell you it's not easy , I am human and slips up happen, rare but they do happen. :=). I had to say to myself , how can I point out folks errors and judge, correct them, help them when my shit is not in order. I've learned , the saying is true . " practice what you preach" and I do. So today I chose to excuse myself and had that moment of recognizing what I am and who I am , which was bigger than the act I originally wanted to carry out. Not only do words hurt, actions do also. So you see folks be it's ok to lead by example just make sure you are what you are trying to teach the person you are helping. I'm 46, 47 soon and I'm still learning , and at the same time you have to tell yourself you have folks willing to learn and you have folks willing to teach, and I've done both at the same time. In the end every action doesn't need a reaction and timing is everything. MINDSET IS EVERYTHING..
